Many divas prefer relaxing in a tub. Bathing has the ability to relieve menstrual cramps, aid sleep, and even lift depression. These benefits can be achieved in as little as ten minutes. If you have time, light some candles, put on your favorite music, and let the beauty enhancements begin. The payback will be evident inside and out! Consider personal and intimate beauty care as a respite from the world. It will allow you the inner confidence to face anything and everything that comes your way.
Watch the Temperature
The water in your tub should be warm and comfortable, but not too hot. Water that is too hot drains energy, rather than restore it, and can dry skin out. A temperature of no more than 110 degrees is most desirable for comfortable bathing.
Before You Step In
Combine two teaspoons of sea salt with one teaspoon vinegar. Massage on dry legs, arms, and buttocks before showering or bathing. Doing this is an effective and simple detox treatment and an effective way of stimulating the lymphatic system. It gives the skin a healthy glow and breaks down cellulite. Make that soak in the tub even more beneficial by adding elements to fit your specific needs.
Relieve Stress
Brew three cups of very strong chamomile tea and add it to your bath water. Chamomile contains soothing and healing properties that ease away tension.
Energize
Add three or four drops of peppermint to your bath. You can find it in extract or oil form in most supermarkets or health stores.
Soften skin
Toss a tablet of Alka Seltzer into your tub and your bath will fill up with tiny bubbles to invigorate and soften your skin.
Boost Circulation
Add a cup of cranberry juice under running water and soak for at least twenty minutes.
Relax Your Muscles
Apply a thin film of bath oil over your shoulders and neck, and drop a towel over your shoulders. Let the towel’s heat allow the oil to penetrate and relax your muscles.
Soap rule
Keep two soaps in your bath. You need a deodorant soap for your feet, underarms, genitals, and where you perspire. Use only mild facial soap for arms, face, and legs. Never use strong soap on those areas.
Revive Dull Skin
Rejuvenate tired skin with an orange juice bath. Simply squeeze the juice of three oranges and pour into very warm water. Soak for 15 to 20 minutes.
