Trim Your Own Bangs!
It’s not necessary to run to the salon each time your bangs need a little trim. Here is how you can do it yourself!
Grasp a small section of hair with your fingers. If your bangs are cut styled straight across then keep your fingers horizontal. If they are slanted your fingers should be slanted in the same way.
- Use small scissors to get optimum control.
- Don’t cut across your forehead. Instead hold the scissors vertically, and cut into the bangs. It creates a softer look.
- Snip a quarter inch off each section. You can go back and trim more later after you’ve combed your bangs out.
- Start at the center of your forehead and trim outward until you reach the middle of your eyebrow. Then repeat with the other side.
- Be careful not to cut past your eyebrows which could create a hole.
